All The Right Moves // Chapter 9; Marli Moring
"Flash! Drop that hose!" Marli Moring ran around the front garden as her dog playfully chased her, the hose in his mouth and his tail wagging. Everything was wet; Marli's clothes and hair, cars, the windows of her house, the porch, the grass, the pavement... simply everything around her, including the dog. Luckily for Marli it was warm out... but what'd you expect? It was summer. Summers were supposed to be warm... even though with the current environment.. it wouldn't surprise her that would change soon... maybe in a few years it'd snow in the summers and the sun would be shining in the winters. That would be one alternate universe. Marli started to laugh when her dog started to circle around himself, trying to catch his tail while the hose was still in his mouth. Marli had given up running away from the spraying water and sat down in the grass, getting the hair tie out of her brown hair to make a new ponytail, since the other one was absolutely messed up. Flash saw that she didn't run anymore and dropped the hose onto the ground, walking over to the person who took care of her and laying down in front of her. Marli smiled at the dog. "I'm glad you're coming along to England, Flash. I don't think I'd be able to miss you for almost two months! Little bandit.." she stroke the dog's head before she stood up again and closed the faucet before tying her hair back into the ponytail. Flash barked and started to twirl around again, happily wagging his tail and making Marli laugh ...
